What to get for a first car?

im going to be turning 16 pretty soon and im looking to buy a used, small 4 door and i want something thats good and can last very long. ive been thinking about honda accord, civic, nissan maxima, altima. something simple, no mustangs etc. want it to have good gas mileage also, Thanks!
