What do you think of this?: "San Francisco considers banning the sale of all pets"?

I think its idiotic in my opinion i love animals and i care for them i understand some concepts of why they are doing this but it goes a little too far. Sooner or later if this bill ever starts people will start trying to smuggle and sell pets which will make this a lost cause anyways. I love my dogs and guinea pig but you cant hurt all animal lovers for the ones who have abandoned their animals and such
