What policies have middle eastern governments adopted to deal with rising food prices?

In January 2011, world food prices reached the highest level since the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization began indexing them in 1990. Wheat prices have played a role in the ongoing unrest in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt, the world's largest wheat importer. Although governments have attempted to hold prices down artificially, very few can afford to do this extensively enough to prevent potential destabilization.
