What happened to animal planet?

Yeah, people don't really go on TV to learn interesting facts anymore. It's sad, really. I really don't wanna watch people looking for ghosts using animals, looking for some creature that most likely DOESN'T exist, watch them try to kill some common species, or create that horrible mindless drama you see on other channels.
