2002 subaru impreza 4d 2.5l Should i buy it?

Hi, i recently just got into an accident with honda civic. *(which i loved) :( and i need a new car like now for work. Ive been on craigslist and i found a 2002 subaru impreza 2.5l sedan for 4000. It has 180000 miles on it. i live up in a mountain area where our winter is harsh ehre and i live up a mountain.a nd everyone that i know that drives a subaru says ther the best in the snow. im wondering if this is a good deal or if it has too mileage? ive been told by many people that for a subaru that is nota l ot of milage because they last forever.
