What would happen if Germany left EU and why would they leave?

It would be the end of the EU. But I wouldn't know a reason why they would want to leave. It's true that Germany is pumping a lot of money into the EU. But they are also among those who benefit most. Of course they're bitching about spending money that wouldn't be necessary. I'd likely do the same. It's hard to convey that you have to save money if you spend even more money on countries that just didn't do their homework. But Germany has a pretty strong commitment to the EU and as long as they can afford it that's unlikely to change. The EU is the biggest market in the world. Germany would need a lot more reasons to leave that than just being held liable for a broke Greece.
