Are UK consumers buying their own future unemployment?

Yes we have, and we still are doing. But there is little choice from a consumer's point of view for alternatives. What British car will you drive? What British TV set, washer, PC will you get instead? I don't like the situation either, but there seems to be little we can do to safeguard our jobs when people like Dyson closes his factory that made him a multimillionaire, then he sets up abroad and sacks all his British workers. What do we do? The solutions are not there.
